HARRIS SUBSIDIARY EARNS $6 MILLION COPIER CONTRACT

 MELBOURNE, Fla., Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Harris Corporation's Lanier Worldwide, Inc. subsidiary has been awarded a $6 million contract to lease copiers to the Farmers Group, Inc.'s offices nationwide during the next three years.
 Under the contract, Lanier will place 500 copiers at Farmers corporate offices in 28 states. Most of the copiers will be 40 and 50 copy-per-minute models with duplexing capabilities to increase efficiency and help reduce costs.
 "Selecting Lanier as our copying systems vendor is a sound, cost- effective business decision," comments Will Hawkinson, vice president of administrative services. "Lanier worked with us to develop a copier program that meets the needs of all our corporate offices around the country while maintaining the simplicity and benefits of dealing with only one person and one vendor."
