 TO MARKET LAND MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEMS
 MELBOURNE, Fla., Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Harris Corporation's Electronic Systems Division and Ericsson GE Mobile Communications Inc. have announced an agreement to joint-market land mobile telecommunications systems to municipal, state and federal governments.
 The alliance pairs Harris' telecommunications and integration experience with Ericsson GE's land mobile radio products and systems to create sophisticated, mobile voice/data systems for law enforcement, safety, and other organizations.
 Under this agreement, Harris Electronic Systems Division and Ericsson GE will market custom-designed systems that incorporate the latest voice and data communications technology. The systems will include comprehensive network management, radio switching, and on-site engineering, integration and support.
 The alliance will strengthen the companies' marketing efforts and expand the products and services they can provide to customers.
