HARBOUR GROUP ELECTS NEW DIRECTOR

 ST. LOUIS, Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Sam Fox, chairman and chief executive officer of Harbour Group, announced today that Reuben Mark, chairman and chief executive officer of Colgate-Palmolive Company, has been elected to Harbour Group's board of directors. Mark, a graduate of the Harvard Business School, joined Colgate in 1963. He served in a series of domestic and international assignments before becoming chief executive officer in 1984 and chairman of the board in 1986.
 In addition to his responsibilities at Colgate, Mark is well-known for his philanthropic activities, particularly in regard to improving the educational and employment opportunities for New York City's youth. He is chairman of the New York City Partnership's Education and Youth Employment Committee. Mark is a member of the boards of directors of The Fund for New York City Public Education, the National Center for Learning Disabilities and Catalyst, the women's organization.
 He is also a Trustee of Bank Street College and is on the Advisory Board of the New York City Public Schools/Bank Street College Professional Development Center.
 Harbour Group is a privately owned company based in St. Louis. The Harbour Group family of companies encompasses eight business groups which manufacture carbide and high speed steel cutting tools, pumps, compressed air dryers and filters, custom molded elastomers and teflon sealing products, plastic injection and structural foam molded products, aluminum master alloys, tools and dies, and large specialty machines.
