 EMPLOYEES TO SAMPLE TRICK-OR-TREATERS
 PLANO, Texas, Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- This Halloween, more than a million-and-a-half of America's trick-or-treaters will find trial-size bags of new Nacho Cheesier DORITOS brand Tortilla Chips slipped in among the candy bars by one of Frito-Lay's 26,000 employees.
 This is because, in an unprecedented marketing maneuver, every Frito-Lay employee across the United States will take home a free 60-pack case of the Nacho Cheesier DORITOS to hand out in the annual door-to-door ritual.
 "The beauty of this idea is its novelty and simplicity. With America's doorbells already ringing on Halloween, this event offers a terrific opportunity to sample trick-or-treaters with Nacho Cheesier DORITOS," said Steve Ligouri, vice president, brand marketing.
 "Today's business demands going beyond conventional thinking and this is yet another creative way to get closer to our consumers," he says.
 Employees who live in communities celebrating Halloween with events at the recreational centers will contribute their Nacho Cheesier DORITOS to community parties.
 Earlier this year, Frito-Lay employees conducted a record-setting sampling effort -- titled "DORITOS Day" on May 2 -- and introduced new Nacho Cheesier DORITOS to more than five million consumers in supermarket parking lots, on beaches and at festivals and street fairs.
