HALLIBURTON SERVICES TO PROVIDE COILED TUBING SERVICES WORLDWIDE

 HOUSTON, Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Halliburton Company's (NYSE: HAL) Energy Services Group today announced the consolidation of its worldwide coiled tubing capabilities. Beginning in January 1993, Halliburton Services commenced offering a complete package of services in coordination with the other companies in the Halliburton Energy Services Group.
 According to Al Baker, chairman and CEO of the Halliburton Energy Services Group, "This consolidation of coiled tubing capabilities will improve our cost-effectiveness and enable customers to obtain a wide range of coiled tubing services from a single source -- Halliburton Services."
 Baker added, "We will continue to deploy the skilled and experienced personnel from various Energy Services Group businesses to operate the coiled tubing units."
 Energy Services Group business units, in addition to Halliburton Services, will continue to provide technology, services, and products utilizing coiled tubing. They will coordinate the delivery of these services and products through the coiled tubing line of Halliburton Services. In turn, Halliburton Services will provide support for the other business units that require coiled tubing capabilities for the delivery of their products and services.
 The broad range of coiled tubing services includes acidizing; sand washing; nitrogen applications; sand control; remedial cementing; slickline-type work in conventional and highly deviated and horizontal wells; running, setting, and retrieving bridge plugs; selective treating with inflatable packers; logging and perforating; pipeline cleanout; siphon, injection, gas lift, or production strings; drilling; coiled tubing deployed video camera service; and miscellaneous pumping services. Cement slurries designed especially for coiled tubing also are available.
