HALIFAX ELECTS NEW MEMBERS TO ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

 ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Halifax Corporation (AMEX: HX) today announced the election of two new directors at its annual meeting held on Sept. 17, 1993. In addition to re-electing five current board members, shareholders elected Dr. Alvin E. Nashman, who until his retirement in 1992 was president of the multi-division systems group of Computer Sciences Corporation, and John M. Toups, who previously served as president and chief executive officer of Planning Research Corporation.
 Management feels the addition of these two new members with broad experience in the electronics industry will contribute greatly to the continued growth of the company.
 Halifax is an electronics services and facilities support company for government and industry.
