 HALIFAX CORPORATION ANNOUNCES MARKETING AGREEMENT
 WITH GTE ELECTRONIC REPAIR SERVICES
 ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Halifax Corporation (AMEX: HX) today announced it has signed a marketing agreement with GTE Electronic Repair Services (GTE-ERS). GTE-ERS is a national fourth-party electronics depot repair organization.
 Under terms of the agreement, Halifax and GTE-ERS will work closely together to offer efficient repair, maintenance and related support services to their customers. The agreement allows customers to handle all electronic equipment repair and maintenance requirements through one contract.
 The marketing agreement designates Halifax as the primary supplier of non-depot maintenance services to GTE-ERS. GTE-ERS will remain the primary supplier of depot repair services.
 "This agreement allows each company to focus on its greatest strengths under a single contract," said Howard Mills, president of Halifax Corporation. "Customers will benefit from these combined strengths."
