WOLFSBURG are ready to do battle with ARSENAL for the signature of REAL MADRID striker Alvaro Morata this summer.

Wolfsburg are backed by car manufacturers Volkswagen and are gearing up for a huge summer spend as they chase Champions League qualification.

But Arsene Wenger has identified Alvaro, 21, as one of his key targets along with Mario Mandzukic, who is set for an exit from Bayern Munich.

The Gunners also remain strongly linked with Nuremberg striker Josip Drmic, suggesting Wenger is planning major changes up front and casting doubts on the futures of Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud.

TOTTENHAM are watching Swiss Under-21 captain Loris Benito following a tip-off from White Hart Lane old boy Ramon Vega.

The ZURICH winger, 20, is rated at around PS3.25million after scoring eight goals this season.

Juventus and Borussia Dortmund are also keen.
