C[pounds sterling]Europe is an important market for us, and to enhance our presence we needed a company with a proven track record,C[yen] explained Ahmed Ali Hajee, Gulf AirCOs general manager, Offline Markets.

C[pounds sterling]We wanted to continue the expansion of our cooperation with Aviareps because of the effective methods they use in selling our services and raising our brand awareness. So it was logical that we chose them for our Belgian and Luxembourg representation,C[yen] he added.

Gulf Air operates 35 direct flights per week from Frankfurt, Paris and London to Bahrain.

Over the next five years Gulf Air is planning to re-fleet itself to further strengthen its presence.
