Guitar is nabbed in house raid.

MUSIC shop owners in Coventry are being asked to be vigilant after a left-handed guitar was stolen during a burglary in Earlsdon.

The cherry-red Epiphone guitar, pictured, was stolen along with electrical items and jewellery from a home in Sovereign Road at the weekend.

Police understand thieves broke in sometime between 2pm on Saturday and 2am on Sunday, and may also have tried forcing their way into a neighbouring house without success.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Helen Middlemas, said: "The offenders would have been very conspicuous, as they are likely to have been loaded down with lots of items. " Apple computers, a Wii Fit games console, a 32in Samsung TV and jewellery, including a Pandora-style silver charm bracelet were also stolen.

Anyone with information is asked to Call Det Con Middlemas at Coventry CID on 02476 539486 .
