Guinness moves to new PR agency.

Noting that "it was time for a change," Guinness Import Co. moved its public relations firm to Cohn & Wolfe -New York after years with Dorf & Stanton.

According to Guinness' public relations director Linda Dilworth, the importer began an agency review last fall.

"We believed the company was ready for a change," Dilworth said. "It was time for new blood."

"Cohn & Wolfe is pleased to have the opportunity to join forces with a highly respected and successful organization such as Guinness," said Cohn & Wolfe general manager John Frew. "Guinness' portfolio of products includes some of the most renowned premium beer brands in the world, and we're looking forward to working with Guinness to further their success in the U.S."

Cohn & Wolfe took the public relations reins as of January 1.
