TELECOMWORLDWIRE-3 November 2006-Grundfos launches energyproject.com(C)1994-2006 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

Pump manufacturer Grundfos has launched a new website, energyproject.com, to help households save on heating.

According to the company, the site - http://www.energyproject.com - provides advice on energy efficient domestic circulator pumps, the core of the central heating system. The site is reportedly supported by Danish actress, Beate Bille, who guides web users through product selections, downloadable information packs and a competition to win a satellite navigation system.

15% of energy used by the average household is taken by the circulator pump in the central heating system, and by upgrading the pump, homes will be able to save 10% of their total energy use, the company claims.

No financial details were disclosed.
