Growth similar in Europe, North America. (Nonwovens News).

Industry growth rate statistics developed by trade organizations in North America and Europe point to a similar rate of growth in nonwovens production and sales in 2001 on both sides of the Atlantic. According to data generated by INDA, Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, Cary, NC, and EDANA, European Disposables and Nonwovens Association, Brussels, Belgium, 2001 growth levels in North America and Western Europe were 4.1% and 4.3%, respectively, when expressed in metric tons. These data are developed independently and derived in concert with the leading manufacturers of nonwoven roll goods in both geographical areas.
