Groundbreaking news from Lancet Homes.

HOUSE builder Lancet Homes has recently begun building work on its exciting new development, Mere's Edge in Helsby.

A traditional start to the development was celebrated on October 1, when the ground was broken by group sales manager Carolyn Walsh and site manager Chris Jordan.

The Mere's Edge development comprises just 20 new homes with a choice of eight designs ranging from two bedroom bungalows to two, three and four bedroom semi-detached and detached family homes.

The new development is located on the western edge of Helsby village, off Chester Road, convenient for shops, schools and healthcare facilities.

It is also ideal for commuters, with the M56 less than a mile-and-a-half away, and Helsby station just a few minutes' walk away.

Celebrating the new scheme, Carolyn Walsh said: "The dramatic transformation of a derelict industrial site into a smart new residential neighbourhood brings something new and exciting to the local property market. Lancet Homes is delighted to have secured such a prime position and is pleased to use this occasion for the launch of our new Lancet Homes brand."

Lancet Homes was founded in 2014 as the house-building arm of the long-established Brookhouse Group, a privately-owned property development and investment company with history dating back to 1932.

There is a high degree of individuality offered at Mere's Edge, and preshow home opening prices start from just PS149,995 - which could become as little as PS119,996 through the Help to Buy scheme.
