Ground broken for new senior housing. (New Jersey).

Recently, representatives from Jarmel Kizel Architects and Engineers, Inc., and Paragano Construction Services were on hand to celebrate the ground breaking of Paragon Village, a new senior living community in Mt. Olive, N.J. Paragon Village, LLC selected Jannel Kizel, to design this four building complex which will provide a quality, affordable senior living lifestyle. Paragon Village is the completion of a vision of brothers Vince and Larry Paragano, Jr.

When completed, Paragon Village will include an independent living residence featuring 82 one- and two-bedrooms and assisted living facilities featuring 70 units. The assisted living community will offer a 24-hour safety and emergency monitoring system, a senior community center, transportation services and a medical arts building, which is scheduled to open in 2003.

Situated at 425 Route 46 East in the Budd Lake section of Mt. Olive Township in Morris County, the community will provide a variety of services and amenities. These services will include an on-site beauty salon/barber, library, exercise room, cafe/ice cream parlor, chapel, computer stations, banking center, laundry facilities and much more. Each fully equipped residence features a kitchen, wall to wall carpeting, emergency call system, generous closet and storage space, individual climate control and decorative window treatments.

On behalf of Paragano Construction Services, Jarmel Kizel will be provided architectural, mechanical and electrical engineering interior design services and will oversee structural engineering as well. As architect of record, Jarmel Kizel was also instrumental in assisting N.L. Paragano Associates with obtaining all approvals for Paragqn Village, which included both zoning approval and loan commitments. Construction should be completed by December 2002.
