Gribbens becomes Town & Country Sales & Service.

Jim and Jane Schmidt are back supplying the Burtch-Cainsville farming community with small engine repair, parts, service, and lawn and garden equipment.

Town & Country Sales & Service opened their doors at 251 Cockshutt Rd., just north of the Schmidt's old store, Gribbens Farm Supply. The Schmidts gutted an old building, installed a maintenance garage in the back, and brought back mechanic Jim McKee. Bob Malcolm, a new employee, rounds out the garage staff.

Gribbens was bought out last year by a Kitchener-based farm equipment dealer, renamed and gussied up.

But customers missed the neighbourhood familiarity, small-town feel and low prices.

Well, it's all back, including their old phone number. Call (519) 484-2901.
