Greyhounds: NOW FOR THE 'DON OAKS.

PAUL HENNESSY is to launch a strong challenge for the English Oaks at Wimbledon next month as he eyes an historic Irish and English Oaks double.

Hennessy intends to bring over three top bitches for the Classic headed by his Irish Oaks winner April Surprise and third placed Olympic Bee. The third member of the team will be Vintage Black.

All three have already been trialled around Wimbledon when April Surprise clocked best in 28.04sec. No doubt the Kilkenny trainer will be hoping that he doesn't have another setback like his St Leger raider Rockys Swift coming in season days before the event!
