Greyhound racing: William Hill Greyhound Derby preview.

DEERFIELD SUNSET, owned by Florida priest Father Bryan Dalton, has hardened to 5-4 favourite with the sponsors for the William Hill Greyhound Derby after his smart win in Saturday's third round at Wimbledon.

The Irish ace clocked 28.69 sec, a length and a quarter quicker than chief market rival Chart King, who recorded 28.79 sec when winning in heat six.

Hills' spokesman David Hood reckons they have the race between them: "It's hard to look past the pair for the winner, they both have tremendous pace and the draw has been kind to them," he said.
