Gretna's goal is a second record.

Having already established their longest winning sequence of 13 games, Gretna will pursue another record when they meet Montrose in the Scottish League Division Three at Raydale Park this afternoon.

They have already racked up 86 goals and, if they score twice today, will beat the previous record of 87 established by Ross County and Stranraer.

It's a good bet that Kenny Deuchar will be on the score sheetsince, with 28 goals, he has created a new record passing the previous best of 24.

"We aim to make hay while the sun shines," enthused owner Brooks Mileson who is spearheading Gretna's drive towards the Championship.

Although Dean Shields has recovered from a leg injury and takes his place on the bench, manager Rowan Alexander still cannot call upon another of his prolific scorers Ryan Baldachino who although back in training is not yet ready to resume.

Berwick Rangers may make a couple of changes from the side which went down to promotion chasing Stranraer last week, for today's Division Two clash with the league leaders Brechin City at Shielfield Park.
