Gregory's double proves to be a delight for Rugby.

Rugby Town????????????????????????????????????2 Chalfont St Peter?????????????????????????????1 A GOAL either side of half-time by Richard Gregory fired Rugby Town to a third successive victory against a spirited Chalfont St Peter.

Rugby made a slow start, but Chalfont couldn't capitalise as Aaron Landsiquot headed over from close range for the visitors.

The opener came four minutes before half-time as Seb Lake-Gaskin's pinpoint through ball found Gregory, who slotted into the bottom corner.

Both Lake-Gaskin and Gregory went close to doubling the lead after half-time before the latter eventually did just past the hour mark.

Justin Mardsden was the creator, beating two men on the right hand side, before crossing for Gregory to head in.

Chalfont hit back with seven minutes remaining, Mason Rowley's missed header allowing Landisquot a run on goal to side foot in.

Lewis Rankin and Fazel Koriya had chances seal the win but missed.
