Greenleaf Technologies to Establish On-line Entertainment Network With GameVerse.

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 13, 1998--Greenleaf Technologies Corporation (OTC BB: GLFC) today announced that it has entered into an agreement in principle with GameVerse, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Riverside Group, Inc. (NASDAQ/nms:RSGI), calling for the creation of a joint venture on-line interactive entertainment network.

Under this agreement GLFC, acting as a content provider, will secure and provide entertainment licensing agreements in order to develop games, sell advertising and provide cross marketing opportunities directed toward selling licensed merchandise within GameVerse's subscription based on-line virtual mall and software game sites.

In addition, GLFC intends to establish a game channel of interactive video games on the Internet designed to drive players to a virtual store selling licensed products related to television shows and movies from which the games were developed. The game channel as well as the virtual store will reside in GameVerse's World Wide Web game site and virtual mall and protected with GLFC's proprietary technologies.

GameVerse delivers entertainment and will provide through its Web site, a consortium of creative talent for Internet game design and programming and an on-line Internet mall for the entertainment and gaming industries. In addition, GameVerse provides high speed Internet access designed for on-line game needs.

GameVerse appeals to retail and distribution companies by providing E-commerce, agent commission or revenue sharing agreements, comprehensive supply chain, retail distribution software applications, and centralized product database repositories. These tools streamline businesses, save time and draw customers to their web site initiatives while preserving distribution methods and driving sales for new products.

GLFC develops and markets computer data security and communications solutions (hardware and software) to protect intellectual property and information assets from unauthorized access. The Company owns three high tech products that provide security protection and offers new ways to market and distribute software-based entertainment content through electronic and new media.

The reader is advised that this release contains forward looking statements of the Company and that a variety of factors could cause the Company's actual results to differ materially from the anticipated results or expectations expressed. GLFC, which is not presently a "reporting" company, intends to file a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission as soon as practical following the completion of the Company's audited financials.
