Green space of Bishkek, development of botanical gardens to be discussed on October 17.

A discussion dedicated to botanical gardens will take place in Bishkek on October 17 within the City Talks project. Particularly, the upcoming meeting will be devoted to green space of the capital, 600 hectares of green areas for general use. These are parks, gardens and garden squares, cultivated forests, lawns, flower beds and hedges. The Bishkek City Council formed a commission responsible for the capital's green space. Members of the city council will secure the park boundaries. It is also expected to develop a model of development of green space of Bishkek along with the citizens in order to saturate the content and use of green space. "We invite all active citizens who are ready to invest their knowledge, time and energy into the development of the city's parks. Different specialists are required: economists, marketers, architects, sociologists," the arrangers of the City Talks explained.
