WRITE TO: Thought For The Day, Scottish Mirror, One Central Quay, Glasgow G3 8DA. Every thought printed will win pounds 10BATTLING Dominique Voynet has been a Minister under siege since joining the French Government three years ago.
The 42-year-old Environment Minister caused uproar earlier this year by refusing to cut short a holiday to deal with a threatened oil-spill disaster off Brittany.

Her support from the Green Party has slumped and she is often in conflict with fellow Ministers.
