Greek president to visit Lebanon next week.

BEIRUT: Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos and his wife will make an official visit to Lebanon next week, Lebanese President Michel Aoun's office announced Friday.

Pavlopoulos and his wife Vlassia Pavlopoulous will visit Lebanon on April 11 and 12, with the Greek president expected to hold talks with Aoun at Baabda Palace on the first day of the visit.

Their trip will come on the heels of a visit to Lebanon by Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and his wife Desislava Radeva on April 9 and 10.

A ministerial meeting is scheduled to be held in Beirut on April 10, with the foreign ministers of Greece, Cyprus and Lebanon looking to activate economic coordination, promote tourism and educational cooperation between the three countries.
