Great day in a good cause; Views of the North.
We need enthusiastic, fun and chatty people to join us as volunteer MacDay Makers at Macmillan Cancer Support's single largest fundraising event - Macmillan Charity Raceday.
Taking place at York Racecourse on Saturday June 14, 2014, it promises to be a great day out and, as a MacDay Maker, you'll be helping to raise thousands of pounds to support people affected by cancer.
Macmillan Charity Raceday is a unique and amazing fundraising collaboration between York Racecourse and Macmillan Cancer Support. Over 44 years, the event has raised more than PS5.8m for Macmillan.
In 2013, we raised a record breaking PS380,000, making it the most successful charity Raceday in the country. We expect 26-30,000 racegoers to attend this year's event and enjoy the activities, such as raffles, prize draws, stilt walking and face painting, as well as an afternoon of top quality racing.
