ENGLAND TOMORROW-MAY 3: Pick up home decoration hints at London's newest design festival. West End Home Week has a series of events for budding designers at Liberty, Habitat, Selfridges, House of Fraser and others. Entry is free (www.westendlondon.com/home). MAY 1-3: Meccano fans should head to Enginuity at Ironbridge Gorge in Shropshire. A miniature replica of the Clifton Suspension Bridge will be on show, as well as planes, cranes, robots and trains. Tickets cost pounds 7.65 for adults, pounds 6.55 for children (www.ironbridge.org.uk or 01952 884 391).

SCOTLAND MAY 1: There will be a craft session for youngsters at the McManus Collection in Dundee. Children can let their imaginations go wild then take their creations home with them. The session runs from 10.30am to 12.30pm and costs pounds 2 (www.mcmanus.co.uk).
