Great Journalist Melhem Karam Passes away.

Beirut, (SANA) -- Federation of Arab Journalists (FAJ), the Council of Journalism Union and the Council of Journalists in Lebanon announced on Saturday the passing away of FAJ Vice-Chairman, Head of the Lebanese Editors Syndicate Melhem Karam. Karam was elected as head of Lebanese Editors Syndicate In 1960. He owned a publication house named 'Alf Layla wa Layla'. The Late Karam was Editor-in-Chief of several Arab newspapers such as Albayrak newspaper and a number of magazines such as al-Hawadeth and Monday Morning. Melhem Karam issued different publications in Arabic, English and French in which he kept highlighting importance of Arab Unity. R. Milhem / Mazen
