Great Dane arrives just days before semi-final; SPEEDWAY.

NEWCASTLE Diamonds have made the surprise signing of Ulrich Ostergaard - just three days before their Knockout Cup semi-final first leg at Edinburgh.
The 38-year-old was the individual champion of the second tier of racing in this country in 2015 and was most recently on the books of Redcar Bears.
Ostergaard will replace fellow Dane Jacob Bukhave, who was brought into the Byker line-up just over a month ago.
He will have fellow countrymen Lasse Bjerre and Thomas Jorgensen for company as the 52-year link between the Diamonds and Denmark continues.
Bukhave appears to have been unlucky in some respects as he hit his highest tally (seven points) in the 54-36 home victory over Scunthorpe just a few days ago.
Co-promoter and team manager George English explained: "The maximum points limit for teams went up from 38 at the start-ofseason to 40 from the beginning of July and Jacob finds himself a victim of the 'numbers game' as clubs put teams together to meet the sport's rules.
"Jacob has been a pleasure to work with in the short spell he was with us and I hope some other club will be able to offer him a place soon.
"However, the opportunity to bring Ulrich in was, we felt, one we could not miss out on with such a big weekend coming up and the problems we face in putting out a team for the two matches.
"With Ulrich in the main body of the team, we can move Max Clegg back down to one of the reserve spots where he can continue to play a major role for us."
