Great Central Insurance and Irving Weber Associates Secure Exclusive Endorsement from the New York State Restaurant Association.

PEORIA, Ill. -- The New York State Restaurant Association has granted an exclusive property and casualty insurance endorsement to Irving Weber Associates (IWA) and Great Central Insurance Company, a member of the Select Markets segment of Argo Group International Holdings, Ltd. (NasdaqGS: AGII).

Great Central, through an exclusive agreement with IWA, will offer its specialized Restaurant BusinessOwner's Policy along with commercial automobile and umbrella liability to New York restaurant owners, with special benefits to the association members.

"Great Central and IWA view this, the ninth state association endorsement of Great Central's restaurant insurance products, as further recognition that we are the property and casualty insurance provider-of-choice to the nation's restaurants. We continue to expand our portfolio of tailored risk management solutions for the benefit of the entire restaurant industry," said Bill Meisen, president and chief executive officer of Great Central Insurance.

Great Central will offer its specialized package exclusively through Irving Weber Associates. IWA, in turn, allows brokers access to place their restaurant risk in this comprehensive and specialized program.

"Irving Weber Associates, Inc. and Great Central Insurance Company are committed to working together to present New York State Restaurateurs with the most comprehensive and affordable insurance solutions," said Adam Weber, president and chief executive officer of Irving Weber Associates.

"Insurance benefits are a great asset to association members," said Rick Sampson, president and CEO of the New York State Restaurant Association. "Because the association was unable to find a specialized program that would allow members to purchase policies through their brokers, we haven't been able to offer a business insurance program for many years. However, we are excited about the Great Central/Irving Weber program and believe it will provide our members with the protection, access and pricing they deserve," said Sampson.
