When Triple-S Alarm Co. finishes moving into its new building behind the Fairfield Communities Inc. building in Little Rock later this month, it will begin using a system that allows it to monitor alarms across the country.

"We're contracting with smaller alarm companies that don't have the equipment investment we have," says Rick Edwards, president. "We've already signed about 10 accounts."

The accounts reach to North Carolina.

The new operation is called Design Communications. It will use special circuits and 1-800 numbers to accomplish the job.

Triple-S hopes to complete the move by July 26.
