Governor extends greeting to Christian community celebrating Christmas.
PESHAWAR -- Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Engr. Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has said that the basic human rights for every one including the Christians Community are constitutionally secured and their role and services in every walk of life for making overall national development possible are a precious part of our national accomplishments.
This he stated in a Christmas message, 'The Christian Community of Pakistan is celebrating Christmas today. On this auspicious occasion, I extend my greetings to the Christian Community of the country especially those hailing from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA'.
We, the Pakistanis imbued with the spirit of brotherhood; fraternity and national cohesion are equal partners in putting our beloved country on the path of development, progress and prosperity. Indeed, with this spirit we as
Pakistani nation have to continue our collective efforts for our future well-being.
On this auspicious occasion, I would like to remind my Christian brethren and sisters that while observing the Happy Christmas they should also reaffirm their commitment to maintaining unity; fraternity and cohesion at every level and work for overall betterment of the nation and the country.'
