Government to receive 6.6 million annually for 5,000 sq m of state property leased by AUCA.
American University of Central Asia uses about 5,009.3 square of state property, Director of Property Relations of the Ministry of State Property of the Kyrgyz Republic Ekmat Baybakpaev told Tazabek publication. In case of signing of lease contract with the management of AUCA, monthly rental fee will be 551 thousand 23 som and 6 million 612 thousand 276 som per year. "So far this matter is not considered. Letters will be sent to the Ministry of Education. This is a commercial institution, tuition is paid to study there. If to give preferences on this issue to AUCA, then we have to give them to others, too.
