Government of Kyrgyzstan considers allocation of 60 million som to Botanic Garden.

The Government of Kyrgyzstan considered allocation of 60 million som to the Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Head of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports of the Government's Office Almazbek Beishenaliyev said today at the meeting of the National Academy of Sciences.

Beishenaliyev reminded that the Botanical Garden was established in March 1938 and it marks 80th anniversary in 2018.

"Prime Minister Sapar Isakov gives a great importance to the development of the Botanical Garden. A part of the Botanical Garden will be open for citizens by the end of this year," he said.

According to him, the issue of strengthening scientific and research institute, improvement of its infrastructure and rehabilitation is being considered.
