Government Internet Systems retains defense solutions.

Government Internet Systems, Inc., a majority-owned subsidiary of Vertical Computer Systems, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: VCSY), has announced that it has retained Defense Solutions, L.L.C., to assist in the marketing of its emergency communication management product (ResponseFlash) to federal, state, and local governments of the United States. Vertical has licensed ResponseFlash to Government Internet Systems, Inc.

Steve Rossetti, of Government Internet Systems, stated, "We are very excited about our relationship with Defense Solutions. The ResponseFlash technology is well suited for fast implementation to assist Federal and local entities in addressing their communication needs in the homeland security environment by providing a coherent communications grid for fast response to emergencies. According to the Tim Ringgold, CEO of Defense Solutions, LLC, "ResponseFlash is the mechanism for government agencies to rapidly deploy a large number of emergency response web sites with advanced communication capabilities where each agency can operate as a fully autonomous site or as a component of a larger network. Government Internet Systems, Inc. (GIS), a Nevada corporation, is a majority-owned subsidiary of Vertical Computer Systems, Inc.
