Gov't bond futures prices rise slightly in morning.

TOKYO, Dec. 17 Kyodo Prices of 10-year Japanese government bond futures turned upward Friday, as investors bought back bonds on dips in the absence of fresh incentives.

The price of the March futures contract for 10-year bonds rose 0.16 point to 131.58, sending the yield down 0.015 percentage point to 2.159%.

Trading of the No. 218 10-year, 1.9% government bond was not matched on interdealer sell and buy orders. The yield on the benchmark 10-year government bond closed at 1.755% the previous day.
