Gordon Biersch adding seasonal

Dan Gordon, brewing engineer and partner at the Gordon Biersch Brewing Co., has announced the 1991 release of his German-style dopplebock beer for the holiday season.

"The bock beer is sure to bring a glowing smile to every customer," Gordon said, noting that his dopplebock is only available for consumption at the Palo Alto, CA-based brewpub.

In addition to the release of his seasonal bock, Gordon also reported that he and his partner, Dean Biersch, have expanded their brewery-restaurant concept to second location in San Jose, and will be opening a San Francisco operation at the historic Hills Brothers Coffee Building in early 1992.
