Good Technology Secures $27 Million in Funding; Broadview Capital Partners Leads Round, Joining Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers and Benchmark Capital.

Good Technology, the technology leader in enterprise mobile computing, today announced that it has raised approximately $27 million dollars in series C funding from financial investors, led by Broadview Capital Partners. Existing investors including Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers and Benchmark Capital participated on a pro-rata basis. The funds will allow Good to further accelerate its market penetration and product development schedules.

"We believe that Good's wireless data system has the potential to be to email and corporate data as the cell phone is to voicemail and telephony," said Steven Brooks, managing director of Broadview Capital Partners, who has joined Good's board of directors. "The universally positive feedback we received about Good from its customers and partners gives us confidence that Good can meet this need for the growing number of corporations we expect will reach the same conclusion."

"With this investment, Good is strongly positioned to serve our growing base of demanding enterprise customers," said Danny Shader, CEO of Good Technology, Inc. "This round allows us to invest more aggressively in the capabilities that our customers value, and in the development of sales channels required to reach a broader base of GoodLink subscribers."

GoodLink provides mobile enterprise workers with the only industry standards-based, cradle-free, continuously synchronized wireless connection to Microsoft Exchange Server(R)-based data so they can instantly access corporate email, contacts, calendar, notes and tasks when they are away from their desktops. In addition, Good's GoodInfo corporate information system makes it easy for wireless handheld users to access Web-enabled corporate applications such as SAP, Oracle, Siebel, Manugistics, and Cognos, as well as corporate and public Web sites.
