Gone2Lunch campaign group formed to promote "virtual lunchtime".

TELECOMWORLDWIRE-19 September 2002-Gone2Lunch campaign group formed to promote "virtual lunchtime" (C)1994-2002 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

A new online campaign group has been formed that is dedicated to restoring the UK lunchtime break in the workplace.

Gone2Lunch.com claims that British workers are pressured into cutting short their lunch breaks and could be singled out by management if they insist on taking their full allocated time. Because of this, the group is suggesting the introduction of "virtual lunchtimes" in which employees can access the Internet for their own personal use.

According to the organisation, Gone2Lunch.com aims to obtain 100,000 virtual signatures which they will use to demonstrate the need for reform in the UK work environment.

The web site can be accessed at http://www.Gone2Lunch.com.
