Golf World Business.
Advance Publications' (New York) purchase of four golfing
magazines and related Web sites from The New York Times Co. included one
trade title. Golf World Business, was established in 1963 and is
published ten times a year with a controlled circulation of 18,700. It
is targeted to golf pros, owners, managers, directors and related
professionals at private and public courses, golf resorts, sporting
goods stores, manufacturers and e-commerce businesses. The three
consumer titles in the deal included Golf Digest and Golf World.
