Golf: Singh keen to show hes the best in world.

THE bookmakers rate Vijay Singh fourth favourite for victory at Augusta this week, but the world rankings say he is No. 1 - and it is clear he trusts them ahead of the layers' assessment.

``I'm pretty comfortable with the position I'm in,'' the 2000 Masters champion said last night as he prepared for his first Major as numero uno.

``I don't have any worries. I'm here at the Masters, the best player in the world right now and ready to go win another one.

``I don't think I'm afraid of anyone out there. It's really up to me how I play.

``If I go out there and start worrying about Tiger (Woods), or Phil (Mickelson) or Ernie (Els), then I'm in the wrong business.''

Blue Square are tempting Masters punters to bet with them by pledging to reward customers with hard cash if there is a hole-in-one this week.

If you bet pounds 10 or more with the firm and there is an ace, they will give clients cash to the value of the hole number. For example, if someone finds the cup in one at the 16th hole then pounds 16 will be winging it's way to Blue Square backers. And the offer is cumulative, so if there are two aces at the 16th then punters get pounds 32 and so on. In last year's Masters there were three holes-in-one, two at the 16th and one at the sixth.

Bet365 go 7-4 that there is a hole-in-one this week and 2-5 that there is not.

For the first time, Ladbrokes have dipped their toes into the handicap market. They have 84 players (only those count) at 50-1, with Woods the scratch back-marker.
