2 Pink Dogwood 575yds par 5 Two big hits now to get on since tee was pushed back. Long or left are bad better laying up short.

2003: Rank 17. Average 4.859.

1 eagle, 83 birdies, 165 pars, 27 bogeys, 6 double bogeys, 2 worse.

3 Flowering Peach 350yds par 4 Shortest par four on course but a teaser. Tiger Woods double-bogeyed it last year. Pear-shaped green with steep slope mean wicked pin placings.

2003: Rank 13. Average 4.046. 47 birdies, 184 pars, 47 bogeys, 5 double bogeys, 1 worse.

4 Flowering Crab 205yds par 3 Wind is a big factor to another undulating green which slopes from to front. Jeff Sluman (1992, four-iron) scored the only ace here in Masters history.

2003: Rank 7. Average 3.222. 23 birdies, 181 pars, 74 bogeys, 6 double bogeys.

5 Magnolia 455yds par 4 Jack Nicklaus twice holed his second shot here in 1995. Fairway bunkers left have been enlarged, making it even tougher dogleg.

2003: Rank 6. Average 4.229. 1 eagle, 20 birdies, 184 pars, 72 bogeys, 6 double bogeys, 1 worse.

6 Juniper 180yds par 3 Elevated tee down to vast green with huge slope make correct clubbing crucial. Jose Maria Olazabal took seven in 1991 and lost by one to Ian Woosnam.

2003: Rank 8. Average 3.222. 23 birdies, 184 pars, 68 bogeys, 9 double bogeys.

7 Pampas 410yds par 4 Used to be a birdie chance but now 45 yards longer and much more demanding.

2003: Rank 14. Average 4.035. 1 eagle, 55 birdies, 167 pars, 55 bogeys, six double bogeys.

8 Yellow Jasmine 570yds par 5 Enlarged bunker 300 yards out demands accurate drive. Hard-tohit undulating green up steep hill.

2003: Rank 15. Average 4.940. 2 eagles, 65 birdies, 175 pars, 34 bogeys, six double bogeys, 2 worse.

9 Carolina Cherry 460yds par 4 Tee pushed back 30 yards, so most approaches off downhill lie to green where anything rolling off can continue down 50-60 yards.

2003: Rank 9. Average 4.211. 25 birdies, 182 pars, 69 bogeys, 8 double bogeys.

10 Camellia 495yds par 4 Huge drop from tee to green and big right-to-left shot required to get ball running down the hill.

2003: Rank 3. Average 4.313. 22 birdies, 166 pars, 85 bogeys, 8 double bogeys, 3 worse.

11 White Dogwood 490yds par 4 Start of Amen Corner was the toughest hole last year. Trees added down the right since make it even more demanding drive.

2003: Rank 1. Average 4.412. 17 birdies, 152 pars, 97 bogeys, 17 double bogeys, 1 worse.

12 Golden Bell 155yds par 3 Probably the most famous par three in golf. Narrow target, water in front, trouble at the back, is guaranteed drama every year.

2003: Rank 4. Average 3.303. 22 birdies, 182 pars, 62 bogeys, 13 double bogeys, 5 worse.

13 Azalea 510yds par 5 Massive dogleg left where scores have ranged from Jeff Maggert's albatross two to Tommy Nakajima's 13. Rae's Creek runs down the left then in front of green.

2003: Rank 16. Average 4.915. 3 eagles, 83 birdies, 145 pars, 45 bogeys, 5 double bogeys, 3 worse.

14 Chinese Fir 440yds par 4 No bunkers but three putts are common on a green which is one of the most testing in golf.

2003: Rank 10. Average 4.197. 31 birdies, 173 pars, 73 bogeys, 7 double bogeys.

15 Firethorn Fir 500yds par 5 Regularly the easiest hole according to the statistics. In range for the entire field off a good drive but there's water to carry and front of green tilts towards it.

2003: Rank 18. Average 4.771. 5 eagles, 96 birdies, 150 pars, 26 bogeys, 6 double bogeys, 1 worse.

16 Redbud 170yds par 3 More water and inevitably more drama with a green that slopes significantly from right to left.

2003: Rank 11. Average 3.141. 41 birdies, 172 pars, 63 bogeys, 6 double bogeys, 2 worse.

17 Nandina 425yds par 4 Eisenhower Tree is infamous pine in front of tee but control of the second shot is the key.

2003: Rank 12. Average 4.130. 33 birdies, 191 pars, 50 bogeys, 10 double bogeys.

Tee was moved back 60 yards18 Holly 465yds par 4 so fairway bunker from which Sandy Lyle got up and down to win in 1988 now 300 yards away.

2003: Rank 2. Average 4.410. 13 birdies, 158 pars, 97 bogeys, 13 double bogeys, 3 worse.
