Golf: Dyson's delighted.

SIMON DYSON admitted he "went back to the drawing board" after a poor pro-am at the Volvo China Open.

And it paid off as he carded a five-under-par 67 to lie joint second after the opening day at the Honghua International Golf Club in Beijing.

"I'm very pleased with my round, especially after yesterday when I didn't play that great in the pro-am," Dyson said after carding six birdies, four coming in an inward nine of 32 having started on the 10th tee. "I went back to the drawing board, went back to the range for a couple of hours and found something."
