Golden girls; SIGHTSEEING TRIP TURNS INTO ORDEAL FOR CANOEIST'S FAMILY.

FOUR German Olympians have stripped off for a special Games edition of Playboy magazine.

Judo star Romy Tarangul, 40, left, sailor Petra Niemann, 30, canoeist Nicole Reinhardt, 32, and hockey player Katharina Scholz, 25, all appear in the issue of the German edition that went on sale yesterday.

The issue has a choice of four covers, each dedicated to one of the athletes.

Scholz, who helped her team to a 4-2 victory over the US this week, admitted she was worried the Playboy pics might detract from her performance.

But she said all four of them had been proud to show off their toned bodies.

Scholz added: "Everyone decided it for themselves but we were all happy to do it.

"For me, it was a good opportunity and maybe when I look back after a few years I will be proud of it.

"Not everybody can go on the cover of Playboy."
