Gold Coast Resources Inc. Announces Agreement With Five Independent Firms to Represent Product Sales.

SACRAMENTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 17, 1998--The Travel Agents Hotel Guide, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gold Coast Resources Inc. (OTC/BB:GCRI), has signed agreements with five independent rep firms to specifically target sales of the Hotel Guide's product in Mexico and the Caribbean.

Pursuant to this agreement, sales are scheduled to begin in Mexico within two weeks. Previous sales in this area have been very strong for TAHG, and, based upon past sales and commitments made by the rep firms, sales volume is expected to exceed $100,000 per week. This would represent a multiple increase over existing revenues.

Sales for the month of February were approximately $100,000, or an average of $25,000 per week. This represents an increase of more than 100 percent from January 1998 and an increase of more than 250 percent of the average weekly sales from the last four months of 1997.

Gold Coast Resources has headquarters in Sacramento. The Travel Agents Hotel Guide is a subsidiary of GCRI that publishes a research guide to aid travel agents to find accommodations and travel-related services quickly and easily. The guide started publication in 1984.
