Global Fitness Holdings Developing 4 More State-of-the-Art Gold's Gyms in Louisville and 7 in the Cincinnati, Columbus and Cleveland Areas.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Global Fitness Holdings, LLC, the largest Gold's Gym franchisee in the world, which ranks in the top 25 Fitness Holding Companies in North America, is proud to announce the development of 4 more state-of-the-art Gold's Gyms in Louisville (Middletown, St. Matthews, Taylorsville Rd & Hurstbourne, and Dorsey Lane & Hurstbourne). Global Fitness already has 2 successful Gold's Gyms established in that market.

Also, currently under way are 7 new Gold's Gyms in the Cincinnati (West Chester and Bellevue), Columbus (Hilliard and New Albany), Cleveland (Crocker Park) and Dayton (The Green and Beaver-Creek) markets.

The amenities will include: Indoor Swimming Pool, Indoor Track, full Basketball and Racquetball Courts, Huge Cardio Deck with personalized Flat Screen TVs, complete Cardio Movie Cinema, Group Exercise Classes, Plush Locker Rooms, Steam Rooms, Dry Sauna, and Tanning.

Gold's Gym is known worldwide for their Personal Training and Nutritional Programs. Their certified personal trainers have changed people's lives by assisting in reaching their fitness goals, enjoyably and safely, in the shortest amount of time possible.

Taking into consideration the increasing obesity rate among American children, Global Fitness has created a fully supervised area for children of all ages, called The Fit Factory. It is fully equipped with Kid's Strength Training Equipment, a Movie Theatre, Basketball Court, Computer Stations, and a floor-to-ceiling Play Land. Global Fitness wants its Gold's Gyms to be adopted by the entire family in the communities they are building in, thereby making it the ultimate "family fitness experience."

In addition, Global Fitness Holdings and Laurel Crown Capital, a Los Angeles private equity firm, recently inked a significant growth capital investment to develop 50 Gold's Gyms in Tennessee, Kentucky and Ohio.

Global Fitness and Laurel Crown Capital currently have 27 Gold's Gyms in development. All of the gyms will be greenfield facilities, ranging in size from 45,000 to 60,000 square feet. The first of these new gyms are slated to open beginning in the fourth quarter of 2006.

Royce Pulliam, CEO and founder of Global Fitness, stated, "We are extremely excited about accelerating our growth initiatives in partnership with Laurel Crown Capital and its principals, Larry and Stephen Paul. The Pauls and Laurel Crown share the same passion for fitness as our employees and want to help us take Global Fitness to the next level. By 2012, we intend to have 50 Gold's Gym locations as part of our exclusive territory development agreement with Gold's Gym International, Inc."

Laurel Crown Capital's Managing Partner, Laurence E. Paul, highlighted, "Over the past two years, we have been evaluating and tracking opportunities in the rapidly growing health club sector. Upon meeting with the Global Fitness Holdings management team, we quickly realized they were poised to leverage the success they have experienced in Lexington, Nashville and Cincinnati. With additional capital, we are confident we can continue to grow the Gold's Gym brand, to make it the preeminent fitness operation in our three-state region."
