Global Clover Network.

The Global Clover Network, the international operations arm of National 4-H Council, names Her Excellency Dr. Inonge Mbikusita-Lewanika as Ambassador, 4-H Africa, and Shingirirai Nyamwanza as Managing Director, 4-H Africa.

Mbikusita-Lewanika will lead 4-H policy advocacy around the youth solution in modern agricultural development--two of the most important areas for Africa's advancement. She will also head up the development of a Pan-African 4-H Advisory Council and mentor country 4-H leaders.

Nyamwanza will work with partners across Africa to strengthen the capacity of 4-H leaders, professionals and volunteers in country-led 4-H organizations. She will work closely with Dr. Mbikusita-Lewanika and 4-H country leaders to implement market-based youth-in-agriculture projects and sustainable models for food security based on the 4-H Positive Youth Development approach.

Most recently, Dr. Mbikusita-Lewanika, served as Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia to Brussels and the European Union (EU) from 2010-2012. She also served as Dean of the Zambia Diplomatic Corps from 2009-2012.
