Glenn faces roll call after Baba adds to crisis.

Byline: By Alan Oliver

Glenn roeder will be forced to hold a roll call before tomorrow's UEFA Cup tie with Levadia Tallinn at St James' Park, (writes Alan Oliver).

And the United boss admitted today that some players will be on the bench for the first round second leg tie with the side from Estonia even though they are carrying knocks.

Left-back Celestine Babayaro pulled out today with a slight groin strain leaving Roeder with just five defenders ( Stephen Carr, Peter Ramage, Craig Moore, Steven Taylor and Titus Bramble.

Roeder said today: "I am disappointed that Babayaro is not fit but we don't want to start feeling sorry for ourselves."

Roeder says he has fined Babayaro two weeks' wages under the club rules for "indiscipline" after the Nigerian international was banned for violent conduct for the second time since February.

And with Olivier Bernard still miles away from being match fit, for me the sooner United get Wayne Bridge through the door in January the better.

Roeder admitted: "We will have several players on the bench carrying knocks."

Shola Ameobi will be involved tomorrow night despite struggling with hip and ankle injuries.

With Nicky Butt a certain starter in midfield, it will give Roeder the chance to rest either Scott Parker or Emre.
