Glatzel raring to go after sealing Rovers loan switch; Tranmere.
Byline: BEN REARDON
PAUL GLATZEL "can't wait" to get started at Tranmere Rovers after making a season-long loan move from Liverpool.
The forward, 20, links up at Prenton Park for the 2021/22 Sky Bet League Two campaign and adds attacking options for manager Micky Mellon.
Glatzel featured for the Reds' Under-23s side last term as they competed in Premier League 2, and he will now play his football on the other side of the Mersey at Rovers.
"It's a privilege to be here and I'm just looking forward to the season now, and I can't wait to get started," Glatzel said. "I know what the club is about and I'm looking forward to being here and playing for the team. Under-23s football is good but it's not quite the same as firstteam football so I want to come here and show everyone what I'm about.
"I'm looking forward to kicking on and making my debut, and getting the experience in.
"I want to play as many games as I can and be available and see what I can do while I'm on the pitch, and hopefully the fans will be impressed.
"A club like Tranmere wants to be pushing for promotion, and that's what I'm here for, I want to help the club get promoted and it's a good project to be a part of, so hopefully we can put some good performances on the pitch to try and get to League One."
