Glasgow's miles faster.
But CycleCity Guides said the city's drivers were also the most courteous.
The speeding claim came as no surprise to motoring chiefs at the RAC.
Spokeswoman Sue Nicholson said: "Another survey claimed Glasgow drivers jumped more red lights.
"It would appear the pace of life in Glasgow causes drivers to put the foot down.
"That's quite worrying as speed is the biggest contributory factor to accidents
"But it's extremely encouraging that Glasgow drivers are courteous.
"If they could just be courteous and keep the speed down they would be the best drivers in the country."
But an AA spokeswoman said: "There has been no scientific story to prove Glasgow motorists are faster than anywhere else."
The cyclists' guide blasted drivers in Bristol as rude and aggressive while Birmingham motorists even used a hospital's grounds as a rush-hour short-cut.
London drivers showed all the worst mannerisms and Oxford drivers came out best.
