FAVOURITE events in the Digbeth O'Lympics include the drag o'war and the region's version of a rock star's triathlon.

Here's a rundown of the rules for some of the most popular.

Drag o'War; Tug o'War, but competitors must wear drag.

Coracle Challenge: Competitors must build a cardboard coracle and race four lengths of the pond sited at the nearby Custard Factory complex.

Custard-filled welly race: Youngsters attempt to complete a challenging course wearing Wellington boots filled with thick custard.

Snail race: Inhabitants of various pub gardens compete for the title of Digbeth's fastest snail.
